Sun Trail

Yet another fantastic set of weather! It was prize/speech/sports day today and the sun helped to lift every ones spirits. Later in the day, having ditched my suit for shorts and a polo, I found myself on a bike ride and witnessing the cloud formation at the top of this post. For me at least, never before has the moment been more appropriate to use the metaphor, 'a wall of cloud'. There was also a party going on half way up the Tank Traps with some surprisingly good music playing! Although I saw some Police snooping about, the party didn't seem like it would come to an end any time soon! I spoke to one guy briefly and he told me, "Man; this is a party by the people, for the people". Cool!

Badge-Matron

This dog can be the most obedient animal ever laid eyes on, but every once in a while all hell breaks loose. I had a leavers supper today, it was fun. I also biked about, alot.

..and here is a picture of Badge.

Journey Through

Here is the second half of today in photo form. Coming to Brighton and then leaving. I saw Transformers 2 today in the cinema (wow), which was an outstanding film. It was the kind of film that is good to watch with friends and makes you feel good when you walk out at the end. I can remember thinking to myself three quarters of the way through, "This is going on for a long time...but i'm ok with that!"

Sun, Cow & GTR

Made some more progress on the cow today. It's taking forever though.

This is a 'Blackberry' photo of the new Skyline GTR. It has been a long time, possibly since first seeing the new Maserati GT that a road car has swept me off my feet. Every part of it is truly awesome.

Fathers Day

A 4x4 being used for what they were built for right at the top of the downs, surrounded by buttercups, clovers and other small shrubs.

It was the London to Brighton Bike ride today. Some friends of my parents were participating so we walked to Ditchling Beacon to give them support and more importantly get some Ice Creams.

An Orchid.

The same 'subject' as yesterdays second photo but taken about 15 hours later.

Having overcast patchy cloud is not all bad on the weather front. It produces sunsets like this day after day! Went to Sam Venthams 18th tonight. Much fun was had!

Impreza Spotting

Not yet sure what to think of the New Impreza. It was in the Fast & Furious film and also featured in a crazy promotional video by DC that had the car race around an abandoned dock in LA doing crazy drifts and stunts but I'm still not convinced. It looks too delicate. Probably flies though!

Down South

i found myself in Brighton today looking at the City College art exhibition. It included work by students who had just completed the course that I will be attending next year. A visit to Cyber-Candy and Shake-Away followed which led me to these two shots. One of a bejeweled Volvo which apparently at some point or at some point in the future went/will go to Barcelona and then on to Budapest. The other picture is a Stencil by the French artist C215. I have often walked past this super stencil but have never before had the patience to capture it.

West to Sun

Theres something about white 5 series Beemers. Next car? Why not.

This weekend I went to Dorset for my Grandad's birthday! The weather for the most part was very pleasing and I had a fun time! As usual however on the drive down we encountered some of Britain's worst drivers who seemed to have come out for their Sunday drive a day early.

Old Ones

With my camera still lost, it was fortunate that I today chose to wade through my backed up iPhoto libraries from years past, as I turned out these two gems! The top photo is Brighton Beach one summer evening from a couple of years ago. It was a particularly impressive sunset and really reminded me how much I love Brighton and the beach! The other photo is one I had forgotten about until now. It is, not really requiring a description, the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The same shot has probably been done millions of times before but when 'in the moment' it is hard to resist. I seem to also remember that it was frightfully cold!

At The Top

On first inspection this photo looked really depressing to me, paying homage to the weather of the time, but actually I think its quite interesting! Dreamy almost?

My next task, after screen printing of course, is to get hold of an HD camcorder and start shooting some film and editing on my new shiny Final Cut Pro!

The Ascent

This shot from last year (Photography club) kind of represents whats been going on these last few days. The upwards slope of the climb is the school year passed. The final step is the exam and the top is summer. At this point in time, the photo hits the nail on the head.

Sun, Sun & Chopper?

I had a big maths exam today (Core 3). The weather was once again exceptional so I spent the rest of the day after the exam basking in it. There was a slight breeze on the downs making it just perfect. Oh and a massive chopper flew by at eye level. (/Coool!)
