This post has no real flow to it. They are just a selection of images from the day I thought were significant. The top photo is of Alfonse Mucha's stain glass window in St.Vitus' cathedral within Prague castle. It was one of the most impressive sights of the trip. I had visited the Mucha museum two or three days before and developed a real attachment to his style and works. This shot should really be viewed in color for the full blow back experience. Whenever I take shots outside churches or cathedrals now, I always think of my trip to Italy with my Dad when we visited Florence shortly after his wallet was stolen. We spent time simply wandering the city looking at the sights, including the churches as that was just about all you can do in Florence with no money. We went to a church, Santa Maria Novella or something and I took some B/W shots of the hordes of people outside. Due to this I have always felt that churches, although being a religious centre are also a social and communal centre. I very much got this feeling again in Prague. The amount of money I had going for food and drink that day was not too dissimilar to Italy also in fact. Rant over. The last picture is of a nice car!!
