I love Icicles! There is something very pure and elegant about them. Here are two fine examples, one on our roof and the other on my neighbors rosebush. I have to add that although I tried I think that this photo really doesn't do it justice. The gutter above has leaked all over the rose bush transforming it into a pristine sculpture that looks both fragile and deadly. If you happen to be passing by my house in the near future keep your eyes peeled for it. Icicle is also one of my favorite drum and bass producers. I think that's a great picture James. It's hard to capture the scale of the thing, isn't it, but looking up is a good viewpoint. I was hoping to get it with the sun glinting through the ice but Apollo didn't co-operate!

Thanks Philip! Youre right it was a tough shot with the lack of good light. Maybe its true glory is one for our memories rather than our hard drives.
