Night Light

Knights

Cool bike from Knights Park. Its a shabby old road frame with some very bling deep-v's in blue and white.

Meal

I cooked steak-pizza today. It was goood. I seem to be incredibly busy all of a sudden.

Wash

I tried washing today. I managed to make all my black clothes covered in weird dust and most of it just doesn't want to dry.

Partay

Mums Party today! It was a great way to end a great week! Looking forward to coming home again soon!

Ball

I had my Freshers ball tonight, which was amazing! Ministry of Sound ran the pre party and I even went to a silent disco.

There are these big spiders all over Surbiton.

Central

Tonight was a great night. I trained up to London to meet Rob for a pint or two and see his new house. It just so happened that I got in contact also with a fellow fixed gear enthusiast who was getting rid of some bike bits so I offered to come and pick them up at the same time. I organised to meet her at Tokyo Fixed Gear near Piccadilly Circus but managed to go the wrong way and ended up in Leicester Square. There were about 100,000 people all cheering and flashing their cameras so I knew something was going on. After a brief interrogation of an enthusiastic girl waving a piece of paper and a pen shouting autograph, I discovered that Julia Roberts was promoting her new film as it was the premier. I turned round and she was right there signing people shirts and looking very elegant. That was cool, so I wandered off to get my bike bits and meet Rob. Central London is an amazing place and seems to be buzzing 24/7. I look forward to my next trip into London which hopefully is soon!

Enrolment today!

Back to Class

I had my induction day today which consisted of some introductory talks by my new tutors. There are a remarkable number of people from back home though. I then went to Kingston to buy some bits and pieces including a new bed linen set and a washing up scrubber brush. Exciting times.

New House

Here is the attractive view from my new room! Auntie Kim took me into Kingston today with the boys for some shopping and lunch.

Fist day of university. Ahhh. Here is a sweet NSX near my flat and the overground line coming into Surbiton Station.

Last Day

I was enjoying my last day at home today while trying to pack. I also went to Nicks new flat... which is incredible.

Crammed

Today I waited around for my project prints to arrive. Couriers are generally very fast but the fact you have to stay home all day waiting on them is just silly. Also in my experience they are always late. I received them and popped into Brighton to do some clothes shopping for Uni. After shopping Stu came round for a bike ride. We went up the Beacon again and for a short 5 mile sprint towards Offham. In the evening I cycled to the driving range for a golf night and then to worlds end for Scampi and Chips. After that, as if I hadn't done enough in one day already I then had some friends round for drinks and a movie. We watched 'The Flying Scotsman', which appropriately is a cycling film that I would highly recommend.

FInished

A bike day in celebrattion of finishing my project. Here is my Sun GT re-builtup and looking 'vintage'. Also my Cannondale which took me up Ditchling Beacon today. That thing is an absolute rocket downhill.

Chore Monday

I walked the dog and went to the dentist today. It cost me £45 just for a checkup? Stu's bike is almost finished and my project is not.

Lacquer Red

Another day of trying to get work done and struggling. I did make progress though and my new frame is almost fully painted and built.

Medale

Somehow Nick managed to get his raleigh done before going back up to Edinburgh. It was only 3 months in the making. The powder coated finish looks sweet though and im very jealous. The sky was really fiery this evening.

Sheets

I went shopping today for Uni bits and once again struggled to do my project. I think I need to be more ambitious and get into work mode as soon as Uni Starts.

Quiet Riser

I awoke late today after a muddled evening. Somehow the afternoon quietly disappeared and I hadn't done nearly enough of my Uni project as hoped. Instead I fashioned these risers from old bits, which I thought turned out quite well!

Messy

I was supposed to see Piranha 3D tonight but it didn't work out. I did however manage to settle down and do some work. Still no cleats from Evans either. Whats going on?

Sky Ride

What does it feel like to be one of 85,000 people cycling through central London? Incredible. Here are some shots from an action packed day. I even met Sir Chris Hoy and got him to sign the free High-Vi I got.

Social Saturday

It was Saturday today so I spent the morning and afternoon chilling with the family in the sun. I made good progress on the next bike project to roll through, which is almost ready for paint. I then went round to Nicks again for some beers and bike fixing! I seem to be spending far too much money at the moment. Oh yeah, here is my beautiful.

Z Cage

I met up with Stu today for the first time in who knows how long. Hes back from his Gap Year and it was great to see him and hear his stories. I also finished the painting job, which I started yesterday. My bike now had a water bottle holder!

Paint & Swim

Today I started a painting job. In the evening I went round to Nicks for some bike fixing and swimming! Fun day.

Intergalactic

Tonight I went up to the Windmills and looked through Bills Telescope. It was amazing staring at the lunar craters and discussing physics. I managed to get a couple of shots of the moon which was a bonus. I also did some shopping with mum during the day.
