Ride East

First Forum ride. It was great to be among so many cyclists, most of whom were on ridiculously cool bikes! It did rain heavily towards the end though which ended with far to much McD's consumed and falling asleep on the train home and almost missing Hassocks. Yeahhh.

Jack the Ripper

I literally started the day (from when the clock struck 12) at Rhythm factory near Whitechapel. I even walked across one of the original spots where Jack the Ripper killed one of his Victims to get there. Loefah, Tunnidge, Cyrus and more were playing. It was a heavy night.

I can also remember on the journey to the club we came across a cyclist you had been hit by a car. There was a massive group of people gathered around as the guy was literally pulling his bike out from under the car while limping around. Nasty.

Mystery Tour

I had an excellent day today with some fellow Illustrators on a Mystery tour around Liverpool street and the Thames drawing. We were guided by the inimitable Stephen Fowler. I even almost got into the Bank of England.

When Photobucket fixes itself I will amend these.

TCWC

For my second day in Manchester, Bill and I ventured out to the commonwealth games complex to the Velodrome. I had the most incredible day. Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton, Jess Varnish and Gregory Bauge were whizzing past my grinning face all day. Our tickers were standing ones though so it got quite tiring after a while. So much so that when trying to watch Crawley V Man United in the pub after I fell asleep about 3 times.

Drama Day

A long day ended with my Arrival in Manchester for the first time. It was probably the furthest North I have ever been in England although Dad says Ive been to Scotland once as a baby. I was almost sicked on in the train by a stag and forgotten about by Bill but in the end I found myself in My sleeping bag getting some much needed shut eye.
